Mom I had a dream that you and your sister Hazel were there but Dorothy kept fading away. Dorothy joined you on April 22, 2007. Now my grandmother's first four girls: ruth, Hazel, Dorothy and Helen, are in heaven with her. Dorothy left her home to your youngest sister, Georgie Lee because she never had a home of her own. I love you all so very, very much.

Here it is your birthday, mom. You would be 84 today if you were with us still. I miss you still.

I know understand grief of a parent. With the passing of my father, Ben W. CONNER on 2 Nov 2004, I reflect on the passing of others in his generation in our family. I know Helen will look after my dad as she was an angel here on earth and I believe her caring and compassion did not stop when she left us.
Love Cynthia

I have been spending the past week thinking of you mom. I built a little shrine, of sorts, in honor of you. A picture, a candle and my memories. I miss you so much!

Happy birthday mom, With all the lessons you learned you have left this world a better place because we - your children- have learned from your trials. I see you in my dreams. In one you told Sonny that you were not ready for me to come to your new home but you would let me know when it was time.
I hope I can embrace my end as gracefully as you did yours.
I love you very much

Mother, last night I dreamed about you again. Then while still in my dream I remembered that you are gone and I told you so. We had a good conversation and then I woke up sad. I miss you. Thanks for giving me life and for showing me how to live fully and how to die bravely.
